This Privacy Policy explains how Cielsy Keyword Metrics ("the Extension", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when users authorize and use the extension.

1. About Cielsy Keyword Metrics

Cielsy Keyword Metrics is a Chrome extension designed to help users perform keyword research before launching Google Ads campaigns. The extension may use Google OAuth and the Google Ads API to retrieve keyword-related planning information requested by the user.

2. Information We Access

When you authorize Cielsy Keyword Metrics with your Google account, the application may receive authorization credentials required to access Google Ads API functionality.

Depending on the functions used, the application may access information necessary to retrieve keyword planning data, including keyword ideas, historical keyword metrics, geographic targeting information, language settings, competition information and advertising bid estimates.

We do not intentionally access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, personal messages or unrelated Google account content.

3. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used only to provide functionality requested by the user, including authentication, permitted Google Ads API access, keyword research retrieval and display, and performance optimization through temporary or cached keyword research results.

Google user data is not used for personalized advertising.

4. OAuth Credentials

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens may be securely stored when necessary to maintain an authorized connection to Google services. These credentials are used only to provide functions requested by the authorized user and are not sold, rented or provided to advertisers.

5. Data Storage

Keyword research results may be temporarily cached to reduce unnecessary API requests and improve extension performance. We retain only information reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell Google user data. We do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising, marketing, profiling or data-broker purposes. Information may only be processed by infrastructure providers when technically necessary to operate the service and subject to appropriate security measures.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect authentication credentials and application data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Sensitive credentials are not intentionally exposed in the public Chrome extension source code.

8. Revoking Google Access

Users may revoke Cielsy Keyword Metrics' access to their Google account at any time through their Google Account security and connected-app settings. Revoking authorization prevents future access through the revoked credentials.

9. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of stored authorization credentials and associated application data by emailing zhangdong2604@gmail.com. After a valid deletion request is received, applicable stored credentials and associated user data will be deleted within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.

10. Google API Services User Data Policy

Cielsy Keyword Metrics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, APIs or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
